Our mission is to deliver customer service!
The R3M (Repair, Replacement, Renovation & Maintenance)
Section fills a maintenance void between the capability of Facilities Management and Architectural Services. Our primary
role is two fold: First, renovations, replacements and repair services are given to county-owned
buildings that are above the capability of the Facilities Management Division to perform, but
not significant enough to engage the full attention of an architect. Such projects include,
but are not limited to:
- Air conditioning and roof replacements
- ADA improvements
- Parking lot paving
- Building painting
- Lighting and energy efficiency projects.
Secondly, the R3M Section performs building inventory and inspections to ensure that county-owned
buildings and facilities are safe, efficient and functional.
Project priority considerations are based upon the following:
- Protecting the health and safety of people, emergency maintenance/repair to prevent further
damage to a facility, equipment, or systems.
- Building Repair, Renovation, Maintenance, and protecting equipment, components, and systems.
- Enhancement of a building by renovating interior finishes and fixed equipment to facilitate
efficiency and program changes.
