Stormwater management concerns all aspects of rain water once it hits
the ground. Flooding, pollution of lakes, rivers and streams, as well
as planning, designing and constructing stormwater control projects
for Hillsborough County, Florida, are part of our section's
responsibilities.
We also have several programs for involving individuals and groups from our communities in these important matters. Among these are the Adopt-a-Pond program and the Lakes Monitoring program. Details about these programs are on the left.
