The Hillsborough County Land Development Code (LDC) includes zoning, site development and subdivision regulations. The intent of the LDC is to promote and preserve public health, safety and welfare. This code is available online through the following link: Land Development Code and Land Use Matrix.

Applying for A Land Development Code (LDC) Amendment
Amendments to the LDC must be initiated by submitting a text amendment application. If the amendment is initiated by an individual or entity outside the County, they must first attend a mandatory application pre-submittal conference and then submit the application and pay the fee by appointment. To schedule an appointment to submit a completed application call the Zoning Counseling Center at (813) 277-1630 or send an e-mail message to zoninginfo@hillsboroughcounty.org.
