| Inspection
services provides professional inspections for all trades and disciplines
that are required under permit in the County,
including structural, gas, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and subdivision
contruction permits, as well as compliance with community codes for manufacturing
housing and mobile homes. Inspections are performed from site preparation
through Certificate of Occupancy, also known as a "CO", by
qualified professionals. All construction permits obtained through the Development Services Division
require an inspection unless specifically exempted as part of the permit.
All permits and plans must be posted on-site. Inspections can be requested
7 days a week from 7a.m. to 10p.m. through the automated IVRS (Integrated
Voice Response System). IVRS is an automated system that will allow you
to schedule, cancel or check the status of an inspection.
Re-inspections are required when construction fails to pass. You may
reschedule your inspection through the IVRS.
For results of inspections, you may check the placard at your job site,
call the IVRS or use this web site - click on Check Permits Status!
