Welcome to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. We are proud to feature every division of our department with special emphasis on every firefighter, paramedic, support person and the executive staff. I sincerely believe it is the personnel of our department that make it great.

We have a dynamic department that provides outstanding service to the over 785,000 citizens in unincorporated Hillsborough County. Our 893 career personnel plus 175 volunteer personnel respond to over 80,000 emergencies annually. With a budget exceeding $111 million, our department is equipped with state-of-the-art apparatus and equipment. We are among the highest trained fire rescue organizations in the United States.

It is with great honor and respect that I salute the personnel with our department. I know without their courage, willingness to serve others, and genuine concern, this would not be the exemplary department that it is today.
