Overview

Here you can request to start water service for the first time, transfer your account to a new address, or stop your service.

Fees

  • When starting service, a deposit is required, but we may waive it if you pass a credit check
  • If transferring, we will make a decision on fees on a case-by-case basis depending on services required at the location(s)
  • Call for further information on fees

Things To Consider

  • If you need to start new service within the next 48 hours, call (813) 272-6680
  • You can begin the process for starting a new account online, but we will need to call you, or you may need to visit a customer service center in person to complete the process
  • Our customer service centers are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The following are need for:

  • Starting Service

    • Contact phone number
    • Email address
    • Identification
    • Social Security number OR valid driver’s license OR passport – to use a license or passport, you will need to go visit a customer service center in person
    • $25 service charge
    • Deposit – this amount varies based on the services at the address
    • Check, cash or credit/debit card
  • Transferring Service

    • Last four digits of Social Security number
    • Contact phone number
    • Email address (optional)
  • Stopping Service

    • Last four digits of Social Security number
    • Contact phone number
    • Mailing address for final bill
