Take the following types of appliance and bulky items* to an eligible facility (see facilities below):

- Water Heater/Chiller/wine chiller
- Items too large to fit into curbside bins
- Non-burnable materials
- Mattresses/box springs
- Treated wood
- Furniture
- Couches
- Tables
- Chairs
- Steel
- Concrete
- Tile
- Auto tires

Where to take appliances and bulky items
What to Bring to Solid Waste Facilities
- Photo ID showing the residential address of the property owner
- If you have any materials other than hazardous waste, paint, and/or electronics, a printed or digital copy of your annual Hillsborough County Property Tax Bill showing your current solid waste assessments may be needed
Alternatives to self-hauling
If you don't want to self-haul, you can request a special curbside pickup for a fee. Prices generally range from $30 to $50, based on the size and number of items. Check out the Special Curbside Pickup for Bulky Items page for instructions and fees.
