Hillsborough County is teaming up with Feeding Tampa Bay for the Cereal for Summer program now through May 5. This initiative helps to raise awareness of childhood hunger and boost support for children at risk for food insecurity during the summer.
Businesses, schools, churches, charitable groups, and individuals can all participate by donating breakfast items such as cereal, oatmeal, and granola bars. Donation boxes are available in the County Center lobby, and at the Southshore Regional Service Center, Public Safety Operations Center, Jimmy B. Keel Regional and Tampa Free libraries, the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center, Lee Davis Community Resource Center, George Edgecomb Courthouse, as well as various public utility locations.
