2017 Brain and Body Challenge - Head over Heels
Hillsborough County Aging Services is partnering with Parks and Recreation to host its annual Brain and Body Challenge at Gardenville Senior Center on April 28. Competition is open to adults 50 and older who reside in Hillsborough County. Teams dress in wacky headwear and funky sneakers to compete in a variety of brain and body skills for 2017 championship glory. Ceremonies begin at 10 a.m. and winners are declared at 1 p.m. Free lunch and refreshments. Call Gardenville Senior Center at (813) 671-7601 for information and registration.
Flu + You Expo
Hillsborough County's annual Flu + You drive is a partnership with the National Council on Aging that provides flu education, and emphasizes the importance of immunizations, especially for older adults.
