Hurricane Irma Shelter Information

Hurricane Irma Update No. 35

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Sept. 12, 2017) - Hillsborough County has consolidated its Hurricane Irma shelter operations for the general public into one location.

The following evacuation centers are now CLOSED:

  • Burnett Middle School, 1010 N. Kingsway Road, Seffner
  • Middleton High School, 4801 N. 22nd Street, Tampa
  • Shields Middle School, 15732 Beth Shields Way, Ruskin

This shelter is now OPEN for evacuees who cannot return to their homes, such as those residents impacted by flooding, and for those whose homes have major damage or were destroyed.

  • Hyde Park Presbyterian Church, 1309 W. Swann Ave., Tampa
