Overview

If you no longer need a permit, or we made a clerical error, and you meet the eligibility requirements, you can request a partial refund of the permit cost.

Eligibility

  • Partial refund – 50%
    • We must receive a written refund request within 60 days of when the permit was issued
    • You can’t have commenced construction
    • Need a copy of the receipt
    • Need a copy of payment type:
      • Credit card receipt
      • Check/money order if cashier’s check or money order
      • Canceled check (front & back) if personal or business check

         

  • Overpayment refunds – 100% of overpayment amount
    • We made a clerical errors resulting in overpayment
    • We must receive a written refund request within one year from the overpayment occurrence date
    • Need a copy of the receipt
    • Need a copy of payment type:
      • Credit card receipt
      • Check/money order if cashier’s check or money order
      • Canceled check (front & back) if personal or business check

Things To Consider

  • Landscaping fees are non-refundable
  • We only issue refunds:
    • if the amount is $100 or more, unless it is an overpayment amount due to clerical error
    • to the business or person that issued the original check or the authorized user named on the credit card

How To

  1. Gather permit number and of copies receipts and payment type
  2. Fill out refund request form
  3. Print out form
  4. Submit form;

  2. If everything is in order, we will issue the refund
