Originally from Gary, Ind., Brian Blair has been a resident of Hillsborough County for more than 36 years. He attended Hillsborough County public schools, St. Leo College and the University of Louisville. Prior to being elected to the County Commission in 2004, Blair was a professional athlete and a successful business owner of a chain of local health clubs. He also recently served on the Citizens Advisory Committee and continues to volunteer for children's causes throughout the county. He and his wife, Toni, have two children.
