Special Announcements
  • Starting March 1, 2016 campers will be required to purchase swim bands if they want to swim in the spring area.
  • The canoe rentals are temporarily unavailable due to debris

 About Lithia Springs Swimming Area

  • Spring area Hours at Monday- Friday 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
  • There will be no Swimming tickets sold after 4:00 p.m.
  •  The number of Swimming tickets sold in a day are limited due to the high volume of visitors in the Spring area.
  • Food, Coolers, and disposable containers are not allowed in the spring area
  • Spring area will close during any kind of hazardous weather
  • There are no refunds or rain-checks for swim bands

About Lithia Springs Regional Park 

The 160-acre park, located on the Alafia River, offers varied plant communities, river cypress swamps, hardwood hammocks.  The park’s major attraction is the natural spring that provides an excellent swimming experience since the water temperature remains at 72 degrees year around. In addition to swimming, there is a bath house, playground and picnic facilities. Alcoholic Beverages and other Intoxicants are prohibited at all of the Hillsborough County Parks.

Lithia Springs is also a popular camping spot with 44 sites and two shower houses. These sites come with water and electrical services.  Regular sites are $24/ night and the Senior Rate (over 55yrs old) is $18/ night. There are no reservations for sites, everything is done on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground office always closes one hour earlier than the remainder of the park. Those wishing to camp should please arrive early. 

All boats, canoes, and other water vessels must be off the water at least hour before park closes
